Ian Brookes is taking part in the 370 mile Big Bike Ride to raise money for the PCA.

Between the 9th and 13th of October, Ian and Julia Brookes will be taking part in a 370 mile charity bike ride from Truro to the Oval.

The event will raise money for PCA (Professional Cricketers Association) Benevolent Fund and Tom Maynard Trust.

With all 3 of their lads (Ben, Henry and Ethan) playing cricket for Warwickshire within their age groups, Ian and Julia thought it would be a good idea to support this event and raise money for the PCA which support cricketers throughout, and after, their time in the game.

Others involved in the Big Bike Ride 2 include Andrew Flintoff, Andrew Strauss, Michael Vaughan, Darren Gough, Steve Harmisson and many other personalities from the world of cricket.

Ian and Julia have never ridden anything like 370 miles in 4 days and from what we’ve heard the training isn’t exactly going to plan!
