Brookeson Material Handling achieves BS EN ISO 1090-1 Accreditation.

CE Marked Stainless Steel Structures

Recent legislation changes mean that all stainless steel structural fabrications must now be CE marked.  Brookeson Material Handling is pleased to announce that they have been successfully audited and are now accredited to manufacture CE marked stainless steel structures.

This is the culmination of many months of work and internal audits to ensure that the company’s policies and procedures complied with the requirements of EN1090-1.

Brookeson Material Handling are approved to design and manufacture CE certified stuctural steelwork in stainless steel.

This is a very significant achievement for BMH and the company is experiencing an increase in enquiries from customers who require stainless steel platforms, walkways and structural fabrications.

Managing Director, Ian Brookes, said “The successful audit has confirmed the high level of quality we have been working to for many years. We haven’t made any changes to the processes in the factory, just some small changes to the supporting documentation. It is reassuring to know that an external auditor has confirmed our procedures exceed the CE requirements.”

The first CE certified structures have now been delivered and installed, complete with supporting documentation in line with EN1090-1.
